Pressure Sensor Test Systems

In order to ensure accuracy over the full operating range, calibration and test of pressure sensors typically must be performed over multiple pressures and temperatures. A pressure controller source is the typical source input for these applications. The source is usually controlled via a GPIB, RS-232, or other standard digital interface.

An ideal solution for these time intensive test applications, the parallel channel MPX-2, combined with a multi-site fixture, dramatically increases test throughput. The MPX-2 interfaces with all industry standard pressure controllers typically used to provide the calibrated pressure stimulus. The source is coupled to a FocusTest multi-site fixture designed to ensure reliable electrical contact and accuracy of the applied temperature and pressure.

The MPX-2 can also be interfaced with industry standard MEMS multi-site handlers. The ATE is configured to exactly match the capacity of the handling equipment, reducing the overall system cost while maximizing throughput.
