Brian Colozzi – Co-Founder
Brian holds extensive experience with company and project management, system design, and semiconductor and vibration testing. Before starting FocusTest, he was the co-founder and Vice President, Engineering for ETEC, Inc. from 1986 – 2005.

In addition to working at ETEC, Brian was also a Systems Engineer at Automatix, Inc. and General Electric Co. and an Electrical Engineer for Draper Laboratories.

Brian holds an MS degree from M.I.T’s Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics and BS degree in Systems Engineering from Boston University.

About Us

Brian Colozzi and Dean Rowland founded FocusTest, Inc. in August 2005. The two have 40+ years combined experience in semiconductor characterization and production testing and 20+ years combined experience developing volume production test solutions for inertial, pressure, and optical MEMS devices.

Colozzi and Rowland were key developers for over 30 different MEMS test systems shipped within the U.S. and to Europe and Asia for companies such as SensoNor, Delphi, JDS Uniphase, Cronos, Ford Microelectronics, Motorola and STMicroelectronics, GE Novasensor, Semiconductor Complex Ltd., and Honeywell International.

Dean Rowland – Co-Founder
Dean’s extensive experience in ATE system design and optimized test applications developments has been applied successfully at companies such as ETEC, Inc., where he was Senior Electrical Engineer, Steptech, and Credence Test Systems as Mixed Signal Applications Group Leader.

Dean holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechic Institute of New York.
